About

Edward Myles Gordon was raised on a sheep station outside of Trangie, western New South Wales.

He has seen first-hand the dire consequences of drought and the gradual decline of a burdened rural economy. He discovered his passion for writing during his extensive travels overseas.

Gordon lived for a number of years in Europe, Asia, the USA, Canada, and South America, where he worked as an English teacher, a gardener, a massage therapist, a salesman and a farmer, among other things.

He admits to having never been far from a pen while on the road. But it was on his return to his farming roots that the seeds for his first novel, ‘Turned Skyward’, were planted.

Gordon lives and works in Glebe, Sydney.

He is currently working on his second novel.
